Choose a filter and add a site exception

First turn on 1Blocker in Safari > Settings > Extensions, then select the needed categories in the 1Blocker app. The free plan allows one top-level filter at a time; using multiple categories together requires Premium. In the Mac app, open Custom Rules > Allow List > More (…) > New Rule, enter the domain and needed options, then choose Save. Reload the site and check that only the needed behavior changed.

If comments or sign-in disappear, inspect the related category before disabling all blocking. For an issue limited to one site, add only that domain to the Allow List and compare. This is an example based on the documented flow, not a live-site test.

Keep rules scoped

Filters can change page content and site behavior. Check a rule’s purpose and domain before saving, and prefer a site-specific exception over a broad rule.
