If you write from 9 to 11 on weekdays, you may want Calendar and family contacts to get through while chat stays quiet. Set a Focus with the right people/apps and schedule.
Choose alerts and set a schedule
Open System Settings > Focus and choose Work or a custom Focus. Allow only a few apps when those are the only ones that should interrupt you; silence selected apps when most alerts are useful and only chat should be quiet. People can also be allowed or silenced. Add a time schedule for Monday–Friday, 9:00–11:00, and allow Calendar and selected family contacts. Apple’s Focus guide
If it does not switch or blocks an expected alert
Check the selected Focus, days, and start/end times. An app trigger follows that app opening or closing; a location trigger depends on Location Services. If the schedule is correct but an alert is blocked, turn Focus off in Control Center, then adjust the allowed people/apps or Time Sensitive Notifications. If Focus sharing is on, check the other Apple devices too. Apple’s schedule and sharing guidance
