Install from the official Edge Store
Install Keepa - Amazon Price Tracker from Microsoft Edge Add-ons. If another price-tracking extension is already installed, avoid enabling duplicate tools until you have checked its alerts and site permissions. To test the basic setup, open an Amazon product page and confirm that the chart appears and matches the selected product variation and chart legend.
Read the chart before comparing a deal
The listing says Keepa adds price history to Amazon product pages and supports ten domains: .com, .co.uk, .de, .co.jp, .fr, .ca, .it, .es, .in, and .mx. On a product page, first read the chart legend to see which price series and time span are selected. Confirm that the chart corresponds to the exact variation—such as size, capacity, or bundle—you intend to buy. The graph is Keepa’s collected price observations, not a complete independent ledger of every transaction or a forecast of future prices.
For a hypothetical comparison, suppose the same model costs 32,000 won plus 3,000 won shipping from one seller, for 35,000 won total. Another listing shows 30,000 won plus 8,000 won shipping, for 38,000 won total. The lower item-price line does not make the second offer cheaper; its total is 3,000 won higher. Use the chart as a starting point, then check shipping, coupons, taxes, seller, and condition at checkout.
Alert settings and free versus paid scope
The Edge listing describes price-drop and availability alerts and says no account is needed to start using Keepa. It does not specify consumer alert limits, whether every alert path needs an account, or a paid tier boundary. When setting an alert, verify the target amount, selected price type, exact product variation, and availability condition in the live interface. The no-account statement supports basic access to the listing’s features; it should not be stretched into a claim that every tracking feature and API is permanently free.
Review privacy and limit or remove access
The Edge Store privacy panel says the extension processes personally identifiable information. The developer declares that it is not sold outside approved use cases, used for purposes unrelated to the extension, or used for credit decisions. Those are developer declarations displayed by the store, not an independent guarantee. In Edge, go to Extensions > Manage extensions > Keepa > Details > Site access to allow access only when clicked or only on selected sites. Turn the extension off to pause it; choose Remove from Microsoft Edge to uninstall it.
